Morning Sickness....

Week of March 8th, 2009
So I've officially hit my 7 week mark and still no morning sickness! ...please don't be jealous if you don't have morning sickness. I have people telling me that the baby may not be "taking" and that it might not be growing as fast as it should. And then there are those who ask, "Are you sure you're really pregnant". Sometimes I wonder if BJ is in there myself, but then I am reminded every few hours when I am hungry and in the middle of the night when I have to get up and go to the bathroom! Plus I could not imagine if I did have morning sickness, I just know that I believe God knows I would not be able to handle it! I had a doctor's appointment this week to discuss travel and to see how we are doing and doc says everything seems fine. They drew a lot of blood and I should hear back results (probably after I get back from China). I'm a little nervous about traveling so far away and about being on such a long flight, but I the doctor assue me that everything will be fine, and I should proceed as normal, but make sure to listen to my body when I'm tired and need to rest.

Speaking of rest, I have been trying to come home each day and take a nap when I can, but we have been doing some packing since we are moving to a new house the week I get back from China! I know I must be insane, but all these plans were in place before we even found out wr were pregnant, so now it seems even more crazy. We found a house in Lee's Summit that we really like and it happens to be in the same neighborhood as a new elementary school. Although the room I had picked out for the office will eventually be a kid's room. Oh, well we are constantly reminded that God's plans are so much more relevant than ours :) BJ and I are off to China in a fews days. I have to maintain a seperate China Blog for school (I know), so you can find it here if you want to follow, and it not, I will update this one on mine and BJ's progress. Nothing is really changing physically, at least it doesn't appear to be, so I haven't taken any new pictures, but I will take a 10 week pic when I come back from China.
